I really wanted to be wowed by these markers (especially for the amount of $ I spent on them). However, I just feel kind of 'meh' about them. I had been using Caliart alcohol markers and decided to splurge on the Ohuhu's because it seems like everyone loves them. Here's my honest break down of the pros/cons: Pros: - So many colors! I love the range of pastels, neutrals, purples and pinks. - Love that they're refillable Cons: - Patchy/blotchy at times (could be a user-error, but I've never had issues with my other markers) - Interacted oddly with the thicker paper of my Bobbie Goods coloring book - WAY lacking in the range of reds, greens, and blues - The fine tip is SO, SO much smaller (and stiffer) than I expected. If you're doing finer detailed coloring/drawing, they'll work great for you. Overall, these markers are pretty middle of the road for me.

Loving this huge collection of colours! It's really rounding out my collection. The chisel nibs are strong but not scratchy, the brush nibs are good quality and juicy. So very happy with this investment.

I have ordered both sets at once (Honolulu and Oahu) as I wanted to try both and I want to say that whilst some colours are similar, the majority aren’t. Oahu comes with the skin tones included (which have to be purchased separately for Honolulu) and many more. I found myself using both sets whilst colouring and both sets are my favourites.

Every thing with my experience was awesome except for having to pay $52 to return the wrong maker set. Other then that my wife loved the markers she added them to her every growing color array.
